Saaz (CZ) Whole Hops
Known for its noble aromas and herbal character, it is one of the four original noble hops. It is an aroma hop, but can add a delicate bitterness when used as an early addition.
The elevated polyphenol content of Saaz aids in abating oxidation, giving beer brewed with this hop a notably longer shelf life.
It’s a great choice in the following Beer Styles: Lager, Pilsner
Alpha Acid %: 2.5-4.5%
Beta Acid %: 4-6%
A good substitute for this hop would be Saaz (US), Sterling, Lubelska-Pulawy, Moteuka, Centennial, Amarillo.
